PRO TABLE TENNIS SERVES

Some of the most complex techniques in Table Tennis are the serves. They require extremely precise movements
to control a tangential impact with the ball at a high racket speed without imparting controlled forward speed to the ball.
These movements have to be well-disguised, yet the rules require that they be visible to the opponent.
The goal is to produce a serve that due to its placement and spin forces a receive that allows an attack.
We have captured the serves of some of the best players in the world during practice and present them
in this program with a clarity that shows each detail in their movement and reveals the secrets of the contact.

This program covers serves of all styles - shakehand, penhold, righthanders, lefties - and they are organized
in the basic categories of underspin, topspin and no spin, with a special mention if the side spin component
becomes significant. Each serve is presented at full speed, half speed and an extra-slow "analysis speed",
with pauses at significant points, then one more time at regular speed. On some serves, we used a
super slow motion camera, which reveals even more detail of motion.

The program features 29 players and 140 serves!
